Job Description
The project manager reports into the Operations Manager and alongside the engineering teams. This role supports the running of the Bournemouth projects division.
Key Responsibilities - Create and maintain project schedules, trackers with support from engineering team
- Budget review/management, inputting to snr management
- Internal and external highlight reports
- Dependency and risk management
- Customer liaison involving travel to customer sites
- Compiling of internal quality documents
Essential Skills - Degree or equivalent in Engineering or similar, or demonstrable relevant experience in lieu thereof
- Project management qualification, i.e Prince2.
- Good knowledge of MS packages – MSP, Word, Excel.
- Efficiency whilst maintaining a strong attention to detail.
- Process-driven individual.
- Experience in dealing with customers.
Advantageous Skills - Aerospace or Defence background
- Experience / knowledge of Part 21 J organisation
Candidates must have a full UK driving licence for visits to customer sites
