Job Description

KDC Projects require a Safety Team Leader to manage a small team of safety engineers focusing on Aerospace and Defence work packages.

This is a great opportunity to build and develop your own safety team, putting your own training platform in place and building a safety management system.

Main Activities can include:
• Scope, manage and check fixed price work packages
• Perform generic system tasks and compile customer reports in support of certification
• Manage deliverables to KDC and customer quality processes
• Ability to work independently
• Liaise with customer on weekly basis
• Flexibility to travel to customer a must
• Dependency, risk, and budget management
• Risk Management
• Weekly Highlight report covering all packages

Key Experiences and Skills
• Previously experience of managing and delivering fixed price packages
• Previously experience of managing safety team
• Ability to manage customer expectations
• Risk Management
• Project Scoping
• Budget Management
• Microsoft Office
• Good communicator
